Mixed Martial Arts at Yokai is led by head coach Cameron Pritchard, a professional MMA fighter with over 16 years of experience in the sport and who is still actively competing today. Cameron is also a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, bringing a deep understanding of grappling, striking, and real fight strategy to every session.
At Yokai, our MMA program focuses on developing well-rounded martial artists through a blend of striking, wrestling, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Whether you're a beginner looking to learn the fundamentals or an experienced athlete preparing for competition, our classes are designed to build skill, discipline, conditioning, and confidence in a structured and supportive environment.

At Yokai, we are committed to helping every student grow—on and off the mats.Our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) classes are centred on providing comprehensive training in both the fundamentals and advanced strategies of BJJ. Open to all skill levels, from novices to experienced practitioners, these classes focus on grappling, ground fighting, and submission techniques. Under the guidance of skilled instructors, you'll learn to leverage your body mechanics to gain an advantage over your opponents. The program aims to build your physical conditioning, enhance problem-solving skills, and promote self-discipline, all within a welcoming and respectful environment.
Our Kids’ Martial Arts Program is designed to introduce young learners to the fundamentals of both Boxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) in a fun, safe, and engaging environment. Open to children of all skill levels, these classes focus on the core techniques of each discipline- striking, stance, and defence in boxing; and self-defence, grappling, and ground control in BJJ.
Led by experienced and patient instructors who specialise in working with kids, the program helps children improve physical fitness, coordination, and mental resilience. Along the way, they’ll build confidence, discipline, and respect for others - all while making new friends and having a blast. Whether your child is bursting with energy or seeking to develop new skills, our supportive community provides the ideal space for growth, learning, and thriving through martial arts.
Our 30-minute HIIT classes are designed to give you a fast, effective full-body workout. Using short bursts of high-intensity exercise followed by brief recovery periods, these sessions help improve fitness, burn calories, and build endurance in a short amount of time.
Classes are suitable for all fitness levels and focus on functional movements, cardio, and bodyweight exercises to get your heart rate up and keep you moving. From time to time, we mix in martial arts–inspired movements to keep sessions fun, varied, and engaging.
